Demo Reel

For my final demo reel, I am thinking of doing something different. My main focus will be on animation but that’s not going to be the only thing that I’ll be doing. I want to model my characters, environment, lighting and do a couple of special effects. The theme will be cartoonish which is much more suitable at this point. Now the idea that I am going to go with is very straight forward.


I am planning on doing a wrestling match with a couple of wrestlers. First, the wrestlers will enter the arena, walk down the ramp while taunting the crowd and they’ll enter the ring. I am thinking of doing lots of fireworks and camera movement to give the entrance lots of life and excitement. Once both wrestlers enter the ring, they’ll have a wrestling match which will feature most of their signature moves. The match itself will be short but enough to display my overall skills. For the closing of my reel, I will be making a 2D clip which will be done in Adobe After Effects.


I have already started modeling one wrestler and I will do my best to get everything done before the due date which is mid April 2008.
